The long weekend is sadly over. Hmmm, but I had tremendous fun. I finally completed the need for speed: underground. Took countless rounds to beat that girl with legend of the streets under her belt. Then when I beat her, the cinematic played and there she was walking out from her car towards me and hair billowing in the wind and the computer said, ‘isn’t this your fantasy?’ LOL. Hello, compy, if you could read my mind, I rather have the car in real life than the blonde that can ride better than me, haha. Although it will be nice to have someone to race with once in a while, or better, to find a other half which indulges in the same sport as you. Biker girl, where art thou~ heh
So the topic stays on cars. Monday went to the motorcar show at Suntec city with my mum, dad, bro and Lena, my maid. The cars on show are so nice, especially the Lancer Evolution VIII MR that I so wish to have. The body work, the fancy interior, the sound systems, the neat engine and upgrades. It will be so nice to be cruising down somewhere at 190km/h to hear the engine purring to perfection and the wind and scenery buzzing by, and of course that boom box belting out those grooves. But at the end of the day, talk is cheap, the cars aren’t. One simple exhaust pipe upgrade is priced at $1,400. An E.C.U upgrade is another $1,700. No, perhaps the nice stereo set? $900? Eh, I’ve the nice momo steering wheel then. What!? 150 bucks for that contraption?
I need to lie down.
Oh and that sweet car costs $161,000 from the factory, fresh in its wrapping. Hmmm, I have to stick to need for speed for that so called ‘fantasy’. Then again, my dad bought me a Porsche 911 for my birthday. Ya la, remote control car also better than nothing right! But it’s nice, it’s smaller than the size of my palm and the controller is as big as half my head. Plus it has got a small button on the controller that reads ‘turbo’. So I’m appeased for the time being.
Walking around, there were quite a number of cars that caught my mum’s and my eye. Hatchbacks like the Mitsubishi Colt, the Nissan Latio Sport, the Hyundai Getz, the Suzuki Ignis Sport and the Honda Jazz are cars that I really prefer, small and zippy yet affordable and easy on the petrol. Of course, on the top of my hatchbacks list is the Mini Cooper S Works. Zzzz. The convertible version just came out, along with the limousine version, LOL. Basically, it’s just an elongated Mini Cooper with swimming pool, sofas, TV and bar apart. It has 8 wheels too, haha. But of course it’s pretty much a white elephant. The Mini Convertible will be nice. Maybe next time.
Then dinner was Swenson’s at Changi airport. It’s been super long since we went to eat there. Apparently they revamped the place and it looks pretty nice. The Popeye chicken outlet brings back memories of breaking sessions at Changi Airport, heh, the old times. And breaking, the hips still hurt, tomorrow have to pay another visit to the sinseh as requested. Kelvin is coming along to see his wrist too. Better don be late or later I ask the auntie to give you a good one. Breaking, on the hand, I can only say that the only thing keeping me going is that Suntec comp. Other than that, the only fuel is boom head spin video. Speaking to Kelvin the other day, I asked him how long it will take to get kimmingsung’s flare, kimyunsoo’s one hand air tracks and elbow tracks, eagle’s 1990s, air tracks and spinning on head and elbow trick, boom’s head spins, Taiwan battle guy’s windmills, flying steps’s baby mills and superman mills plus do knock’s top rock. I said ten years also not enough, he say can la, one year get one trick, wahaha. Can die la. For now, I just want to get my flares, mills, head spins and air flares. 4 years? Sob.
I need to lie down again.
